Extreme Green Rafting is the longest established year round white water rafting operator and a flagship of the Queenstown tourism industry. Inspired by the environment in which it operates, the company has built a reputation for personal service, commitment and teamwork.

Extreme Green Rafting concentrate on providing attention to each customer, from the time they embark on the bus, through to the detailed river briefing before getting on the water and culminating with an unforgettable river trip.

THE GUIDES
All river trips are conducted by guides who hold the NZ National Raft Award. They have been chosen for their skills in rafting, safety, customer service and local knowledge.
All participate in ongoing training specific to our operation.
Our key rafting guides are also members of Queenstown's Air Rescue/Search and Rescue and Swift water Rescue team.

SAFETY
All river trips operate in compliance with the Code of Practice for the Safety of Commercial Rafting as required by the Maritime Transport Act. A recent audit by the NZ Maritime Safety Authority awarded Extreme Green Rafting a rating of Excellent, for the relevant aspects of the NZ Government Maritime Transport Act.

Extreme Green Rafting are recognised as the leaders in the field of river safety and adventure tourism risk management. Our safety background extends to the film industry where we have been providing expert advice, equipment and personnel to motion picture productions (which include The Lord of the Rings trilogy), since 1994.
